We provide a voice for the parents, teachers, and students at Dora Moore. We create opportunities for connection and partnerships between parents, teachers, and students. We advocate for the education and well-being of Dora Moore students. We sponsor, organize, and fund community events and fundraise to support enrichment programming, teacher grants, field trips, and classroom support for necessary supplies. We are 100% funded by public gifts and contributions.
Who is Dora Moore PTSA?
We are a partnership of parents, teachers, staff, students and members of the community who volunteer our time and strive to make Dora Moore the best school it can be through school-wide events, advocacy and support.
Why join?
Your voice matters! We want a diverse group of parents, teachers and students that reflect our classrooms to inform our goals and provide the best possible experience for ALL of our community. We can do more together than apart.
Our commitment to anti-racism
Dora Moore PTSA is committed to being an anti-racist organization. We strive to expand opportunities and support our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students, staff, and community members. Our commitment is ongoing and represents our desire to cultivate a culture that encourages anti-racism, equity, and belonging throughout the entire Dora Moore community. We acknowledge that overall we are currently falling short on our commitment to expand opportunities, foster belonging on PTSA, and connect with our BIPOC community. We devote ourselves to doing better.
